Hi guys, just want to drop you an update about the current Tropical Storm Ramon.
Signal No. 1 has been raised over 4 areas in Mindanao as ‘Bagyong Ramon’ (Tropical Storm Ramon) nears. Surigao Del Norte, Surigao Del Sur, Siargao Island, and the Dinagat group of islands will experience rains and winds of between 45 to 60 kilometers per hour (kph), according to PAGASA.
At 4:00 a.m. today, Tropical Storm “RAMON” was estimated based on satellite and surface data at 80 km East Northeast of Surigao City (10.1°N, 126.2°E) with maximum sustained winds of 65 kph near the center with gustiness of up to 80 kph. It is forecast to move Northwest at 17 kph.

As of 5:00 a.m. today 30 September 2011, PAG-ASA says that Tropical Storm QUIEL has intensified into a typhoon and poses threat to Northern Luzon regions. Its center is now located 770 kms East of Aparri, Cagayan with maximum sustained winds of 130 kph near the center and gustiness of up to 160 kph. It is forecast to move 22 kph going West. PAG-ASA already issued Signal number 1 in Cagayan, Isabela, and Babuyan Group of Islands. Click here to continue reading →
Hello guys! How’s everyone? We here in Typhoon Dodong blog hope that everybody is okay from all the bad experiences Pedring brought to us. But it is sad to say that another weather disturbance threatened to hit the Cagayan-Isabela area. As Typhoon Pedring left the Philippine area of responsibility another tropical storm named QUIEL is approaching. Though TS QUIEL is still too far to directly affect any part of the country it has still slightly increasing its strength as it continues to move westward.

Hi guys, as I browse some videos about the devastating typhoon pedring. I found one video that is very nice. This video comes from this Youtube User. As he film his experience during the land fall of Typhoon Pedring.
Per PAG-ASA, “Typhoon “PEDRING” has maintained its strength after crossing Northern Luzon and is now over the West Philippine sea”. Pedring made landfall over the boundary of Aurora and Isabela at around 4 a.m. today.
Is Pedring the same with the 2009 Typhoon Ondoy? Pedring really caused more damage compare to other previous typhoons of this year i.e Typhoon Dodong, Egay, etc… Many feared that Pedring is the same with Typhoon Ondoy. Click here to continue reading →
